A child’s imagination is amazing, they just think about almost anything and everything. I think it’s best that we nurture it. With Mateo, I usually just follow his lead on what to play and learn. I like to call myself an “enabler”. I indulge his whims as long as they’re not outrageous or ridiculous.
This time it’s about a net. A simple regular net. I honestly did not want to make it because I had no idea to do that. He requested it for a few days, until one day, he put pipe cleaners on the bed and asked me to make a net.
Pipe cleaners, those furry flexible wires that look useless on its own. But use your imagination and they turn into countless wonderful things.
